Tyler Freeburg, a proud native of Algona, Iowa, spent his formative years in the Hawkeye State. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Leadership from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

 

As a former United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel with over twenty active-duty years as an Infantry and Reconnaissance Marine, Tyler served in multiple deployments, supporting missions and combat operations worldwide, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Throughout his career, he held various command and staff positions in both communities.

 

Now retired from the military, Tyler balances his time as a part-time consultant and full-time father. He and his loving wife are raising three boys together and currently call Virginia Beach, Virginia, their home.
